It's been awhile since a new eating challenge debuted around town and certainly a good long while since anything as tasty and tempting as Pho Lee's new offering.

The rules: One bowl of pho in 45 minutes.

The fine print: That bowl of pho has 1 gallon of broth, 2 pounds of noodles and more than three pounds of meat (split about equally between rare steak, meatball, brisket, tripe and tendon).

The reward: A free bowl of pho and a $200 gift card.

The risk: $50 out of your pocket if you fail.

You can find Pho Lee in the Asian Town Center at 1541 East 38th St. on the first floor.
