As downtown Cleveland continues to return to pre-pandemic activity, one notable deficiency remained: the historic rotunda at Heinen’s, which opened inside the Cleveland Trust Building in 2015. While the popular grocery had reopened last fall, the rotunda and second floor balcony had remained shuttered owing to social distancing requirements.

No longer, according to management: “The historic rotunda and second floor balcony at our Downtown Cleveland location has officially reopened!”

That means the second-floor wine and beer shop is back in business as well.

For now, says Heinen’s, the hot food service counters will remain closed.
