Last month we shared with readers the first glimpse inside the completely renovated Clifton Diner space at the corner of Clifton and W. 117th Street. Now we know when that restaurant will open. Landmark has announced that the first day of business will be next Monday April 30.

Landmark will operate in the “fine-casual” dining arena thanks to a combination of high quality food and environment paired with quick-serve ordering and service. Executive chef Thomas Parker, most recently at Adega, will run a scratch kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. The menu offers a broad selection of foods that should appeal to a wide range of diners and at meal times spread throughout the day.

A new three-sided blade sign emblazoned with the word “Landmark” now welcomes drivers at the corner of W. 117th and Clifton and signals the way to this new restaurant on the Lakewood-Cleveland border.
