Valor Acres, the new mixed-use development in Brecksville that is home to Masu by Dante and Flour Italian restaurant, has announced a new addition to the community. Luna Bakery & Café will open a new location there this coming fall.
“Bridget Thibeault is bringing Luna Bakery & Cafe to our campus and we’re thrilled to be welcoming her,” says Megan O’Donnell of DiGeronomio Development. “We know this will be an incredible addition to not just Valor Acres, but also to Brecksville.”
Since opening her flagship bakery in Cleveland Heights in 2011, Thibeault has added locations in Moreland Hills and downtown Cleveland. In 2021, she built a central production facility to support future expansion, such as the shop at Valor Acres.
The new cafe will feature a menu of house-made pastries, coffee and espresso drinks, and breakfast and lunch items such as crepes, paninis, soups and salads. Customers in the market for a custom wedding cake or elaborate pastry arrangement can order those as well.
“We’re excited to bring Luna to Valor Acres and be part of a community that values connection and experience,” says Thibeault. “Our goal is to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful – where small details and great hospitality make a difference, whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee, catering a meeting, or celebrating something special. Valor Acres is a natural fit for how we think about the guest experience.”
Luna will help round out the hospitality offerings at this quickly expanding campus in an effort to make it a true around-the-clock live-work community, says Kevin DiGeronimo.
“Luna is high-quality, approachable and community driven, which is exactly the kind of concept we envisioned for Valor Acres,” he states. “It’s another great addition that helps activate the campus throughout the day and enhances the overall mix of amenities we’re building here.”
