In Mad Greek’s wake, Barrio Tacos will begin readying the space for its fourth full-service location (fifth if you count Progressive Field). On the list of to-dos is expanding the bar, opening up the dining room and adding a rear garage door to unite the back patio with the interior. Mad Greek’s twin garage doors up front will stay, naturally.
“Once we get in there we can do the work in 30 to 60 days,” says Barrio owner Sean Fairbairn. “We’re getting pretty good at doing these things.”

Barrio is a cool spot for drinks but the soggy wet tacos have gone down hill big time. They need to refocus on food quality and less on growth.
Sorry to lose the unique atmosphere, great people-watching bar-room, the moderate prices, and mostly excellent Greek menu.
(The creamy lemon soup has always been a “comfort food” favorite of mine since high school.)
Forty years in the restaurant business is truly forever, and their passing will sorely be missed in the Heights area.
When I called a couple weeks ago to make a reservation they said they aren’t closing, they are moving. Heard rumor Solon area(??)
