Table 45, chef Zachary Bruell’s sexpot of a salon at the InterContinental Hotel, has been chosen by Esquire magazine as one of the nation’s top 20 new restaurants. Food and Travel editor John Mariani selected his picks from hundreds of entries nationwide. The mag’s November issue -- the 23rd Best New Restaurants edition – is on newstands now.
Of Table 45, Mariani wrote: “Divided into five zones, allowing for high-end dining or a casual nosh at the counter, Table 45 is sleek, polished and very cool, one of the most strikingly modern restaurants in America. Chef Zachary Bruell has never been more versatile drawing on global influences in dishes like his homespun bowl of Vietnamese noodles and veal meatballs.”
Bruell was feted last week at a reception in the Big Apple.
