Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble Top the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Fan Vote

While it doesn’t guarantee induction, the Rock Hall’s annual Fan Vote allows the general public to weigh in on the nominees. Public voting for the next Hall of Fame class has concluded and blues guitar hero Stevie Ray Vaughan and his group Double Trouble finished at the top of the heap. The runners-up include, in order, Nine Inch Nails, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Bill Withers and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. The inductees for 2015 should be announced next week. The induction ceremony takes place on Saturday, April 18, at Public Hall. Presale tickets for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. the next day.
