Good afternoon, Cleveland. Here’s some stuff to read while you ponder how to get a gig posing for stock photos.

— Pro-SB5 group uses image of police officer in their literature. Of course, it’s the guy’s not actually a real police officer. He’s a stock photo model. Plunderbund digs up all his other stock photo work to see if those pics would be better suited for the group’s mailings. (Plunderbund)

— The Ohio Statehouse is turning 150 and the Buckeye state is soliciting happy birthday messages. If Ohioans are anything like our parents, the messages will be: “Happy birthday. We thought we’d be grandparents by now. Thanks for nothing.” (NewsNet5)

— An Ohio Department of Health report on smoking in bars mistakenly flipped some numbers that made the analysis golden ammo for opponents of the ban. Oops. To be clear: they still say smoking is bad for you. (Ohio.com)

  1. i can clearly see that his hand is covering where the badge should be, but regardless of that he is still portraying himself as a police officer. isn’t that illegal???????????

  2. He wasn’t out in public pretending to be a police officer. It was clearly a photoshoot. I can’t wait for Halloween so I can get a 8 year old arrested for dressing up as a cop.
