The Sandusky Register got its paws on an internal memo from Cedar Fair CEO Matt Ouimet to the board of directors back in February that outlined the park’s next big coaster.

Code name: CP Alt.Winged.

What that means: Just what you see above. A wing coaster with no track above or below the riders.

  1. No tracks beneath? Who cares?

The real question is “how fast does this thing go?”

Haven’t been there in a few years because all the rides are pretty boring. Waiting in line for hours, to get 2 minutes of disappointment…

It’s like going out on a date, buying dinner and a movie, and you find out you brought home a dead fish.

  2. I am more upset about the Space Needle! Was always the marker comin down the causeway when we were kids….a CP landmark! Disaster Transport blows.
