Earlier this year Cleveland lost "the flower guy," Tibor Sarossy, the kindly and ever-present old gentleman who peddled blossoms around town at bars and restaurants. The beloved flower guy was killed back in January when Christo Skourlis sped through a red light in Lakewood and hit him as well as another pedestrian.

Police eventually caught up with Skourlis after a tip in March led them to his home and truck on Wyandote Ave.

After pleading guilty last month to aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault and other charges, the 29-year-old received his prison sentence of two and a half years today.
