Cleveland’s crazy-deep potholes have been (and caused) all the rage this late winter, and it’s not difficult to see why. Youtube user “Tiny” Tim Rauscheder — who happens to be “Cleveland’s chicken wing king,” apparently — mounted a GoPro camera on the hood of his car yesterday and went for a lovely Sunday drive on Clark Avenue and Denison Avenue.

Here’s some of Scene‘s pothole coverage from the past month:

I got a shock absorber-induced headache just watching that. I also propose we put all those proliferating traffic [citation] cameras to better use by doing a county-wide pothole audit so all those contractors have a better idea of this seasonally-aggravated, albeit man-made endemic. Kudos to Tim Rauscheder for sharing this.
The city is probably losing more money in lack of speeding tickets then it would cost to fix the potholes.
Mayor Frank Jackson will find another joke to tell after watching the rocky presentation.

Hey now, we have to get our priorities straight here. We have to finish putting up 2 more arches in Playhouse Square and the worlds biggest chandelier up first and the $16 million it’s costing!!
