This Polish blogger guy says I should move to Cleveland. That sounds like a good idea.

HuffPo, via data from Apartments.com and CareerRookie, ranked the ten best cities for recent grads. Congrats Cleveland, or prospective Clevelanders, or Cleveland employers, or single folks in Cleveland looking for a fresh batch of 21-25 year-olds to hit on in bars: Cleveland was ranked number two.

Today’s shady but positive data was achieved through looking at the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment, the number of jobs listed that require less than one year of experience, and the population of young twentysomethings.

Not to go all Joe “yayforcle!!!thisisthechangeweneedandwearethebest!thebest!peopleintheworld” Cimperman on you (we guess you have to follow him on Twitter to get that joke, but whatever), but we can’t help but get a fuzzy sense of fuzzy hopefulness that the fuzzy numbers might be right. At least in the sense that you can live dirt cheap in the Forest City and move here and make a real difference, but we suppose in other ways, too. Like, for example, better athletes on our intramural kickball team, but that’s not a priority for everyone.

So, recent grads, consider Cleveland. Cheap booze, cheap living, cheap Scene magazines, and some of the finest Polish cuisine this side of Warsaw. We don’t bite. And we’re not opposed to hugging.
