Cleveland will join Boston and other cities in canceling its St. Patrick’s Day parade next week over coronavirus concerns.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine yesterday said the state had recommended such parades and large gatherings not go on.
In a press release this morning, the parade’s executive director Linda Carney said: “It is my sad duty to inform you that after talking with officials from City Hall this morning, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Cleveland St. Patrick’s Day Parade due to fears about public safety in the wake of the developing Coronovirus situation. We thank you for your interest in our beloved Parade. We hope that you will be able to join us in 2021!”

St. Puketrick’s Day is Cleveland’s annual Mardi Gras. But it isn’t worth dying for. For once, the City of Cleveland did the right thing.

I MISS YOU JUNIOR AKA MARK KURDILLA
Please stop running that obnoxious gerrn-tinged image every March.
That ink-stained drunken yahoo is an insult to all decent Hibernians.
Green-tinged…although this year, it might actually be germ-tinged.
They put that pic up to make Irish peoplevlook ridiculous. Last year they wrote a whole racist article bashing peole with Irish heritage.
And they used the same damn image last year, too. People were really, really pissed off. They’ve used that image multiple times, and have also bashed the Irish and the holiday many times, too. Somebody must have puked on them at the parade, and they’ve never forgotten it.
