And then there were four.

Costco Wholesale Corp. is building a new store in Boston Heights at 6720 Bass Pro Drive (what a name for a street!), and it’s scheduled to open June 22. The warehouse operation already has stores on Golden Gate Blvd., Avon Commons and Strongsville.

The store hasn’t quite started the hiring process yet, but they’ve posted jobs that’ll most likely need to be filled at the store by the time June rolls around. You can also sign up to be a member before the store opens at their temporary marketing offices at 8210 Macedonia Commons Blvd. You’ll get a $20 cash card and $55 worth of discounts for signing up as an Executive Member, plus a two percent rebate on items up to $750.

A Gold Star or Business member will get a $10 cash card for signing up, and annual membership will be stretched through June of next year.

  1. They’re not in Golden Gate Plaza in Mayfield Heights. Also, not in Westlake. It’s Avon Commons. Excellent writing. Ugh.

  3. Since two out of three current locations are incorrect… can we trust the location of the new store??

  4. Costco is great, but only if you are a Conehead from France who has an overwhelming need…and the storage space…to purchase mass quantities of household consumables, such as a quarter-ton of scoopable kitty litter.

  5. Only 20% of the items are bulk. Yes, it is Bass Pro Drive in Boston Heights. I know as I am one of the new employees hired for that store. Great time to sign up in Macedonia!
