Dick Goddard Is 80 Today

We normally have blueberries on our cereal. Delicious and nutritious. But this morning we woke up and poured a healthy portion of woolly bears on our Frosted Flakes in honor of one Dick Goddard, Cleveland’s resident weatherman, badass, and lover of animals.

Dick turns 80 today, which may or may not be his real age. There’s a decent chance he’s a cyborg, a fact that would explain why he’s so damn good at predicting the weather, being a machine like those that create the weather and all.

Fox 8 has a page up where you can leave birthday wishes for Dick, but you can also use it as an arena to beg him to adopt that bastard cat that you don’t want anymore, the one that’s been shedding all over your couch. And the PD has a nice piece on Goddard’s career, which you can find here.
