Our holiday heroes are not always angels. Santa was seen puking in Lakewood last Christmas, for instance, and with Easter upon us we have bad news to share: the Easter Bunny is a DVD thief.
Justin Medema was arrested Saturday on an outstanding felony warrant as he reportedly wrapped up a shift as an Easter Bunny, Mentor Police Sgt. Mike Majernik said.
Medema is accused of stealing DVDs from a Mentor business on multiple occasions in February, Majernik said.
Cops estimate the DVDs totaled about $1,000 in all. Times are tough for the Easter Bunny, man.
