Former County Employee Who Allegedly Raised Son's Salary Charged

Yesterday another former Cuyahoga County employee was slapped with criminal charges. This time the alleged culprit is a 58-year-old Brunswick mom who allegedly cashed in on the wink-wink nudge-nudge atmosphere of pre-Raid Cuyahoga County politics to put more bank in a family member’s pocket.

Former Sheriff Gerald McFaul’s chief of staff Patricia Kresty is accused of greenlighting a series of raises for her son — a move prosecutors claim amounts to a violation of public trust.
