This is what Axl thinks of you

Apparently Guns N’ Roses are still around. And apparently they’re on tour.

The band — or at least Axl Rose and whoever he’s playing with these days — is coming to Youngstown’s Covelli Centre on December 7.

But who knows if they’ll actually make it to Ohio. Rose doesn’t exactly have a great track record when it comes to finishing things (see Chinese Democracy and every single tour he’s started and never completed since the original band split in the mid ’90s).

Plus, he’s such a fat ass these days, he may have a heart attack and die before Thanksgiving.

Of course, even driving to Youngstown and sitting in your seat doesn’t guarantee anything — especially not the two-and-a-half hour hits-filled show GNR are promising. In addition to all of the other asshole things he’s done, Axl has shown up onstage late and has ended concerts a couple songs into the set. In fact, one of these things is guaranteed.

If you feel like taking a chance that maybe, just maybe, Guns N’ Roses will show up on December 7, tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at livenation.com and Ticketmaster locations. —Michael Gallucci

  1. Hey Michael….1) Axl fat? How superficial are you? 2) They’ve had multiple successful tours in the last decade. 3) This lineup is filled with guys who have very impressive resumes. One guy who started in the Replacements and has been in GnR for 13 years. And another guy who’s been in GnR since 1990. But i’m sure you know these things, your just playing it off sounding negative to fit in with all the other “cool” reporters out there who attack Axl. It’s obvious that your not over the band breakup. It’s time to move on dude.

  2. Quit candy coating and tell us how you really feel Michael. How many tickets shall we reserve for you? You’ll need at least two. One for you and one for the chip on your shoulder

  3. Ahh, my favorites: guns n’ roses. The shoot’n ones are in a safe in my basement, the others are in my backyard garden.
