Update: York, the Madison man who ran a horrorshow out of his house, keeping his family trapped inside and abusing his children, pleaded guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of endangering children this week. He took the deal to avoid a rape conviction, so says the News-Herald. York could see as long as 15 years. The state says they want the max.
Update: New bond for Jeffrey York has been set at $2 million. Yeah, that makes more sense.
Update: Jeffrey York is behind bars and that’s where he’s staying for the foreseeable future.
Bond was initially set at $250,000. York came up with the $25,000 necessary to get out.
A judge decided that was probably a bad idea.
He’s been charged with two counts of rape, five counts of gross sexual imposition, six counts of endangering children, and more all because police believe he terrorized his family — wife and seven kids — for over ten years. You are so off base on this “report”. Your facts are not even close to being accurate. That’s not to say that you did not report what you’ve gleaned from either another news source or statement. However, with only a little investigating, you would have found most of what you have written here to be either a grossly embellished telling of a tragic story.
