Pat Robertson, founder of the Virginia-based Christian Broadcasting Network and host of its 700 Club talk show, said yesterday that this week’s earthquake in Haiti was due to a “pact to the devil” that country made 200 years ago to help free the country from French colonial control.
Maybe it’s time to evacuate Virginia.
In 1998, Robertson complained when Disney World and the city of Orlando celebrated Gay Days, saying that hurricanes and other disasters would descend on the state as punishment from God for countenancing what constituted evil in Robertson’s eyes. But 1998 and 1999 were relatively quiet seasons for the normally hurricane-wracked state, which was only grazed by a few of tropical storms and hurricane remnants during those years. Even more curiously, Virginia endured the effects of Hurricane Bonnie in 1998 and Hurricane Floyd in 1999, two of the most destructive and disruptive storms in that state’s history. So what was God saying here?

You know, I must say, if jerkwads like Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh are allowed to continue to spout their special brand of two faced, self serving politico-crap b.s. without some sort of righteous recompense, I truly fear for the future of this nation. These jerk offs are NOT christians, no matter how much they may claim themselves to be.
Its so bad in cleveland I wouldn’t be so surprised if something don’t happen in cleveland. I mean why not us?? Its a sad thing that happened but we’ve turned our backs and are following the traditions of our fathers! I mean look around it’s a mess. I’m glad we have people out there bold enough without cringing because of retributions. We should be out warning people. GOD is not to be played with. If it wasn’t for grace we’d all be gone!! People are so used to hear that GOD loves them thats why he gives grace. But the reality is there is a heaven to go to and a hell to shun. Be warned its a choice.
