A newly elected Kirtland School Board official received a schooling of her own yesterday morning when she failed Drunken Driving 101 and was arrested after partying *too hard* at her re-election victory party.

Kat Torok, 46, reportedly lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a ditch on Mulberry Road at around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Still shining with that post-election glean, Torok was taken into custody and charged with failure to control and OVI.

Torok was released around 4:30 a.m. on a $750 bond. She is expected to appear in Chardon Municipal Court Friday at 8 a.m.

  1. Yeah…….um, can we have a re-vote on her re-election? Better not have any school board meetings within 10 miles of any bars!
