Brent Larkin has to be kidding! The potential opponents to Kucinich have supported the guy for the past 10 years. They are all in bed together and the voters would just get more of the same old — same old nothing. Not one of the three “potentials” has accomplished anything of significant economic development for this town.
Mayor Zannotti bilked residents (many of them seniors citizens) of Parma Heights out of $60 million dollars and his Cornerstone project has been one huge vacant eyesore at Pearl & 130th for five years now!
Mayor DiPiero put in huge stone name tags at the entrance of the city so we could see his name, then he gave the go ahead to build a Rite Aid across from Walgreens to create more jobs for the working poor – with no benefits, no health insurance and no pensions. That’s not leadership – that’s cronyism!
Jim Rokakis is a nice guy who’s been the treasurer, but he hasn’t created or saved a job in all the years he’s been in elected office.
Someone please, please, please convince Barbara Anne Ferris to run again for Congress …she’s got a track record that has delivered… and The Plain Dealer even said so.

I met Barbara Ferris at a Democratic fundraising event; she was the most unintelligent coarse and unhinged person I have ever met. And I’ve never met anybody running for even the lowest office let alone US congressman, who when asked simple questions regarding national politics and issues couldn’t come close to answering them. It was as if she hadn’t bothered reading a newspaper.
I also had to laugh when she blamed Kucinich for the fact her family’s restaurant lost customers because Ohio has lost jobs. I have friends that used to go to Ferris Steak house that have said they’ll never go back because it has gone way down hill. In other words, people don’t go to Ferris because the food started sucking, not because Dennis Kucinich hasn’t single-handedly put an end to free unfettered trade.
God, for all that’s good and holy….PLEASE do not let Barbara Ferris even run for dogcatcher let alone US House Rep.
