LeBron James is too tall to ride some of the most popular coasters at Cedar Point, Ohio.com is reporting today.

Standing at a tremendous 6 feet, 8 inches tall, James misses the height limit for the Millennium Force, the Maverick, the Top Thrill Dragster, the Wicked Twister, and the new Rougarou by a solid two inches.

“That’s ironic,”  Ohio.com’s Craig Webb reports, “because the park auctioned off its first public rides [of the Rougarou] and even threw a party to mark the coaster’s opening, raising more than $125,000 for his LeBron James Family Foundation. The fundraising effort was part of a deal forged between LeBron and Cedar Point after the park offered to rename one of its coasters after him if he traded his Miami jersey for a Cavs uniform,” he said.

Looks like the bball star will have to stick to catching thrills on the Blue Streak.

  1. I can feel LJ’s pain as I too cannot ride any of those ride either, as I have a 46 inch waist (two inches less was likely the difference as well) and the restrains are too small. We were not able to even ride the Blue Streak either, as it was shut down due to the Raptor accident.
