Megabus Bringing Back Overnight Service from Cleveland to NYC

Megabus Bringing Back Overnight Service from Cleveland to NYC
megabus.com
Low-cost bus company Megabus is bringing back its Cleveland-to-NYC route on weekends, with promotional fares for overnight trips starting at one American dollar ($1). The new service starts this Thursday, and will run Thursdays through Sundays,

After inconsistent ridership, Megabus discontinued the CLE-NYC route in early 2017. But now it's back, and will depart nightly from Cleveland's Stephanie Tubbs Jones Transit Center at 11:59 p.m., arriving in New York at 8:45 a.m., on 7th Avenue just south of 27th Street. The return trip will leave New York at 10:15 p.m. and arrive in Cleveland at 7 a.m.

As with the popular Chicago route, the NYC service will likely appeal to cost-conscious college students. But its limited scheduling should make the route ideal for weekend getaways.

In 2015, Scene taught its readers how to ride the Megabus like a "megaboss." Enjoy.
