Update: A judge sentence Tomeka Stockwell, she of the improbably back-to-back DUIs with her child in the car fame, to one year in prison. She pleaded no contest and will also have to attend alcohol treatment and parenting classes. (Cleveland.com)

Hang around the halls of Scene & Heard long enough and you’ll see a story or two about drunk moms toting their kids around in a car. It happens more often than you’d think.

For instance, there was Tomeka Stockwell, who back in June was pulled over by Mentor cops and arrested for a DUI (which she later pleaded no contest to) after police found her 3-year-old in the backseat with no seat belt on, loose empty beer cans in the car, and Stockwell under the influence. (And under arrest.) Oh, and she was pregnant at the time.

There are more. All bad. All unnecessary. All special in their own little way. One thing we’ve never seen, however, is a repeat offender in this category. Until now.

Tomeka Stockwell was pulled over again last week for DUi, according to Mentor Patch. And again, she had her kid in the car.

  1. She ought to have her welfare check by now so she can afford bond and then celebrate with a few Colt 45’s and some rock. Maybe drive past the Po Po Station and toss empties at it and shoot the bird at all the cops. She is a prime example of just because you can reproduce does not mean you should. EVER
