Tomorrow, all HIV screenings are totally free between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Walgreens at 4071 Lee Road in the Lee Harvard Shopping Center.
According to the Cleveland Department of Public Health, approximately 4,400 people in Cleveland are living with HIV or AIDS. The Center for Disease Control suggests people who are between 13 and 64 years of age should be tested for HIV at least once.
Those who are high-risk for HIV infection should be screened annually. High-risks for HIV infection include unprotected sexual contact with an infected individual and intravenous drug use.
