Fans hoping to get to know the man behind the bro will have their shot later this month when Sports Time Ohio airs a short program detailing the zero to hero story of Cleveland Indians first baseman and outfielder Nick Swisher.

Swisher shares stories of his Grandmother and reflects on how she influenced him. We also visit the Parkersburg, West Virginia home of his father, Steve Swisher, to discuss how being the former ballplayer’s son and traveling around minor league ballparks impacted his life. Additionally, find out how Swisher’s love for Indians fans and his “Swishalicious” attitude has inspired the “Brohio” movement and what it means to him.
The 30-minute program, titled “Revealed” will air at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 on Sports Time Ohio.

At least it’s a one-shot feature with solid reporting and not some silly, local Reality TV gig. Swish did Pay Forward to OSU a few years ago through a significant donation earmarked for the baseball stadium — and his name shares top billing with Bill Davis, whose family made a nearly two-million-dollar donation to get the facility built.
Hope it’s a good show, Swisher always seemed like a great guy with a great sense of humor.
