Starting at 9:30 a.m., fans and sneaker heads can purchase the ’90s-inspired shoe titled the “Young King of the People” for just $200. Of course, quantities will be limited. The shoe does go on sale in other markets three and a half hours later.
In addition to the sneaker, purchasers can receive extra gifts like magnets, AM720 tongue patches, Cleveland orange laces, postcards, face masks and eye black stickers, an OBJ jersey beverage koozie, a tote bag and a seat cushion.
To go along with the release, Xhibition is also hosting a tailgate party for Browns fans running from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those purchasing the sneaker can get into the tailgate at 10 a.m. Expect the event to feature a pregame DJ in addition to food, refreshments and other entertainment.
This is Beckham’s second colorway of the Air Max 720. His first, called “Young King of the Drip” featured neon and hot pink and splashes of other colors to represent the superstar wide receiver’s colorful personality.
