Winking Lizard, Lizardville and Winks owner John Lane says that the second Winks Bar and Grille will open next month in Beachwood.

Number Two for this growing regional brand will open Tuesday, December 3 in the former home of The Pit (25800 Central Parkway), situated behind P.F. Chang’s on Chagrin Boulevard.

“It’s going to be beautiful,” Lane says of the space, which will seat 140 guests inside, plus more on the future patio.

Lane says that fans of the downtown Galleria location, which opened about a year ago, will recognize a familiar layout and formula.

“It’s the same model,” he says.

That means in addition to pub grub crafted from local ingredients, guests can look forward to a lengthy roster of craft draft beers from Cleveland and Ohio, with roughly half of the 33 taps devoted to Buckeye-based brands. Many others will come from bordering states.

Thanks to the rise in the use of smaller kegs by craft breweries, there’s more turnover, more variety, and fresher beer.

Cheap and simple wins EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Winks stinks. Go for the beer, skip the food. Overpriced and under portioned. Nice beer selection. Missing traditional fun tap pulls, just pictures 🙁 Small liquor pours. Had steak quesadilla, steak tasted like liver…..Buffalo chicken flat bread pizza at 9.95 was the same size as a .99 cent frozen pizza.
