A routine traffic stop turned into a hefty drug bust earlier this week when Warren County deputies seized 425 pounds (!) of marijuana from a vehicle traveling on I-71.

Apparently two men in a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica were pulled over around 2 a.m. on Tuesday for some minor traffic offense, but were later arrested when officers discovered what they were toting.

Both men were charged with felony drug trafficking, drug abuse and possession of criminal tools. They are being held on $331,200 bond.

  1. Hey look! It’s got the “Johnny Chimpo” logo on it, Farva! What I really wanna know is how are warren sheriffs patrolling I-71?? Warrens like 60 mi from 71!!!! WTF?

  2. Dumb asses rolling that heavy at 2:00 a.m. You know the cops stop everyone they can at that hour! Cops used to require a reason to pull you over – but now they just make something up.

  3. The police Got nothing better to do than to harass people. if it were legaliZed and regulated like in Colorado and Washington, responsible smokers wouldn’t go to jail and would be able to provide medicine to the people who needs it to live a better life.

  4. Hey stupid, someone with 425 pounds of weed is not a responsible smoker. That is too much medicine for any one person lol. I am for legalizing it too so idiots like this don’t travel with this much stuff. That’s just stupid. NEVER carry more then a misdemenor lol

  5. Enough already! Yes that’s alot to be travelling with but how else are they going to distribute it? And look at the size of the bond?? Seriously?!
