Presented here mostly without comment, save for hat tips to reddit’s Robby_Digital and Twitter’s @Branmancanjam, here are a couple of pics that have been making since Sunday of Steelers fans receiving a good old fashioned Cleveland welcome.

  1. I’m all for a pic-out-of-context chuckle at the expense of Steelers fans, but somewhere should be a brief explanation of what really happened (were they disorderly?). The implication that someone might have an encounter with the authorities simply for cheering for the wrong team is an unsafe one to perpetuate in this day and age, particularly for our women and men in uniform.

  2. Incorrect sir! If you are a Steelers fan, you deserve any and all abuse that you may encounter in our fair city.

  3. I was at a Cleveland-Steelers game several years ago, at the new stadium and had relatives in from Florida. I managed to get some decent seats for us and to tell you the truth not only did the Browns stink out the joint that day but there was several totally loaded Steelers fans that just were so obnoxious and wouldn’t sit down and cussed everyone out all day long until finally the usher, then the security, then the police had to take care of them. What fools….

  4. we’re such generous hosts, we gave them a free tour of our jail cells to sleep their buzz off in
