The Cedar Lee Theatre really wants to show Cure for Pain: The Mark Sandman Story. But they can’t, until so many people reserve tickets for the one-night screening.

So if you’re at all interested in seeing this documentary about the late frontman for the Massachusetts alt-rock group Morphine, do the Cedar Lee a solid and reserve a ticket here.

They need only three more people to reserve tickets.

The Cedar Lee is pretty confident they’ll be showing the movie. After all, they’ve already lined up the screening time and date: 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4.

Still, it would totally suck if they got this close to showing the movie and couldn’t because you didn’t reserve a ticket.

So do it.

  1. Elsewhere in Ohio, in Columbus, Underwear Boy and his gang of republican power players has gotten fingered again for unethical business practices with his Victoria’s Secret soft-porn industry. I have always aprreciated the magazine which goes to every household in the country with young people in it. The girls look at the angry models who pout even though they have perfect bodies and botoxed lips, and pray to one day look like them, and the boys polish their rockets and imagine the models are in their bathroom with them.
But this is not about the sex part. This is about false advertising and selling cheap seconds as originals. It was only months ago when Underwear Boy was accused of child labor in countries that manufacture his underwear for girls, and now this. He and the Wolf Gang are most likely at the republican convention right now giving media money and underwear profits to Mitt and Ann Romney.
I am glad I live in Cleveland where there are still a few liberal minds who are not in the Jimmy and Frank wanna-be Mafia, and see the new-age republican party for the farce it is now in 2012.

  2. You go, Kenny! I’m glad you’re here, too…with all the bad news, you supply the laughs, and make me glad I’m not yet you…
