Rigging it ahead of time, Cleveland City Council President Martin (“I Don’t Wear Underwear”) Sweeney, just recovered from Emily Lipovan’s sexual harassment complaint (thanks to buying her off with $60,000 of our tax money), is now planning to dupe the idiotic residents of Cleveland (who stupidly keep re- electing the same scummy, worthless councilmen) with the Plain Dealer helping him do it. Especially Plain Dealer editorial chief Brent Larkin, who controls the Pee Dee.
Sweeney is about to appoint 15 Clevelanders to be on the city Charter Review Commission. But he says he will only appoint people who are nominated by their councilman. This assures that the 15 will do whatever the corrupt, sold-out, shifty, self-serving council wants them to do for the wealthy business people who control council and Mayor Frank Jackson, at the expense of the neighborhoods. This includes reducing council, which will favor the wealthy even more, because it will cost even more money for anybody to run for city council, since with fewer wards the wards will be larger, and such things as mailings of campaign literature will be more expensive…
