House Minority Leader John Boehner still wants to kill the healthcare bill:
“The bottom line is, I believe we can beat this bill,” Mr. Boehner said. “The American people are with us.”
Sure they are. And what would Republicans offer instead? Probably the same “alternative” presented in November, which was largely cribbed from the insurance industry’s wish list. — Frank Lewis
