Slider, the pink and yellow, ambiguously avian Indians mascot apparently lost a chunk of his fur during spring training in Arizona, and an eBay user is now looking to sell it to the highest bidder. The tangled lock of tail is currently hovering at around $20 after steadily climbing from its $1 original price point.
The seller, rufusruffcutt, has a myriad of other baseball listings (though none of them consist of a bit of mascot anatomy) and generally very favorable reviews.
There are currently 25 bids and 21 “watchers,” but we encourage you not to throw your hat in the ring and become complicit in this blatant act of mascot cruelty. What’s next? A piece of Moondog’s ear? The actual heart of that creepy Browns elf creature? No. This cannot stand.
The seller does not accept returns.

Slider is so Nineties. Sell the whole costume to the highest bidder, who can then publicly burn it.
Poor Slider, but this article is hilarious!
