In this case, the expression has never quite been more literal. Steve Tsenges, a Fairport Harbor resident and owner of
OurPet’s, a company that manufactures odor control products for animals, just bid $960 at a New York auction in an effort to acquire … 130 million year old dinosaur dung. That’s $500 more than its appraised value.
Tsenges, who walked away the big winner,
told the AP that “poop is a big business in the pet industry.” The 71-year old hopes to display the dinosaur dung at his company’s booth at trade shows.
