cold rain is as bad if not worse than snow
The bad weather can’t happen….unless Dick Goddard delivers the forecast.
I was at that horrible weather opening day, where they had to use leaf blowers to try and clear the snow off the field. I actually had to shake the snow off my nachos before I could eat a chip. It really sucked, but it was still an awesome experience.
The snow stopped that 2007 fiasco just ONE PITCH away from being an official ballgame and just ONE STRIKE away from it being the first Opening Day no-hitter since Feller did it in Chicago in 1940. Even the cursed Cleveland weather is sometimes part of the Tribe’s (so-called) curse.
Chuckles the Clown
Good thing the monsoon stopped long enough for them to play the game!
