In news that may seem shocking, on this the first day of winter, Clevelanders can expect snow, slushy rain and cold temperatures over the four-day long weekend.

Normally that wouldn't be big news, but the past week of December has brought rain paired with temps spiking almost into the 50s. But now, according to the National Weather Service Cleveland, there's a chance the city will see snow starting tonight through Christmas Day.

The National Weather Service is currently reporting (these details can of course change by day) that weather will remain ideal for the white stuff to form with temperatures sticking mostly in the 30s and heading into the 20s at night.

These conditions could annoyingly lead to delayed travel times during the holiday weekend. Despite that, a true Cleveland Christmas is always made better with snow.
