“It is true, Angelo’s delivered pizza to both the Berry and the DeJesus families on Wednesday,” confirms Angelo’s Pizza manager Brandon Salman. And all day this coming Thursday, in an effort to support all three victims, Angelo’s Pizzeria in Lakewood (13715 Madison Ave., 216-221-0440, angelosonline.com) will be donating 100 percent of its sales to Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight. This includes dine-in, take-out and deliver sales. In addition, Angelo’s employees are donating their personal hourly pay to help these individuals rebuild their lives.

The promotion, conceived almost immediately, has been buzzing around local social media sites throughout Northeast Ohio. “I can’t believe how many calls we are getting already,” adds Salman.

  1. This was a great idea, and I commend them for doing this. They had to be slammed, working like crazy to get all the orders out.
