Via Peggy Gallek at the East Cleveland city building, where every penny is literally and desperately needed and no threat, no matter how unfounded, is beyond uttering:

Not to be outdone, an East Cleveland judge has barred the public from the courtroom today. Two East Cleveland police officers were fired and are under investigation for excessive force after allegedly taking a man to a park and beating him.

  1. Either annex the goddamn place already and send these little petty tyrants onto the welfare line…or level it and start over. Nuking it would be a waste of atomic energy. A firestorm would suffice.

  2. I occasionally practice in East Cleveland. There are serious and very dangerous security flaws at this court. While it is unfortunate, I’m not surprised by Judge Dawson’s decision to close the courtroom in a case where emotions would be running high.

  3. One could state that the citizenry deserves better…..but they have continually voted into office the silly and incompetent buffoons who have tossed the city into a flaming pit.
