First, there was this whole ordeal, which probably isn’t how Joe Smith wanted to start his week.

Then, during yesterday’s afternoon tilt against the Tigers, the Tribe reliever started out onto the field because he thought he was being summoned by Indians skipper Manny Acta to replace starter Justin Masterson.

Nope. No one wanted Joe. Best to hightail it back to the bullpen, then probably Put-In-Bay.
