Now in its 16th year, the Waterloo Arts Fest serves to celebrate the Waterloo Arts & Entertainment District’s appeal. This year’s event, which takes place from noon until 7 p.m. on Saturday on Waterloo Rd. between East 161st St. and Calcutta Ave., features more of the same mix of music, food and art that has made this into the neighborhood’s signature event.

More than 40 bands will perform, and there will be food trucks and special art exhibits. Admission is free.

In addition, the Third Man Records’ Rolling Record Truck will come down from Detroit to set up in the Beachland Ballroom parking lot where there will also be the outdoor stage, food and the Pabst beer garden.

Music Saves will have a portable record booth in the Beachland hallway, and the Rock Hall Archives will be set up there as well from 2 to 6 p.m. as it promotes its request for homemade film and video donations from Northeast Ohio music fans.
