Jim Florentine

Those who don’t follow Jim Florentine’s stand-up may still recognize the man’s voice. He’s the guy behind the handicapped puppet Special Ed on the Comedy Central hit Crank Yankers. He’s compiled an eclectic resume that includes gigs co-hosting VH1’s That Metal Show and appearing on Howard Stern’s satellite radio show. Arguably the king of “trolling” — because of the pranks he likes to pull on unsuspecting waiters when he goes out to eat and his knack for getting under the skin of telemarketers — Florentine’s routine thoughtfully assaults all that he despises between stories of his mischievous past.
