Get your Irish up! Following is a list of Irish-themed events and St. Patrick's Day happenings. Call venues for more information.

Ace's Bar and Grille: 6600 Biddulph Rd., 216-741-4911. Ace's opens for food and drinks at 6 a.m., and we won't stop until we close. Drink specials run all day, and our menu features corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, Reubens, and corned beef sandwiches on fresh-baked rye.

Amber's Cabaret: 13311 Brookpark Rd., 216-267-1234. Make Amber's Cabaret your first stop on the St. Paddy's Day pub crawl. Amber's features a free buffet all day, open till close. Treat yourself to corned beef sandwiches and beautiful ladies.

Around the Corner: 18616 Detroit Ave., Lakewood,216-521-4413. Around the Corner opens at 9 a.m. for the breakfast of champions -- green beer and Irish punch. Rock Shop plays party rock in the evening.

Backstreet Café and Sports Bar: 7865 Plains Rd., Mentor-on-the-Lake, 440-257-5100. Corned beef and green beer specials run all day, and Mike Tipton plays an acoustic set from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Boneyard (Downtown): 748 Prospect Ave., 216-575-0226. WMMS broadcasts live from 3 to 7 p.m.

Bullfrog's Sports Café: 3317 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, 440-327-3764. Bullfrog's Sports Café has over 30 draft beers, and with some careful pacing and help from the kitchen, you may be able to try most of them -- but know when to say when, and never drink and drive.

Carabel Beauty: 15309 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-226-8616. Begin your grooming for the upcoming festivities with the right shampoo so your hair can look thicker, smoother, curlier, or whatever you need. Designated drivers, we recommend the Biolage shampoo, with built-in aromatherapy for de-stressing. Pep R Mint is the choice for the morning-after shampoo, and Carabel is well-stocked. Call for those manicures with green polish, green glitter spray, sparkling green eyelashes, and green hairpieces.

Castlebar: 16612 Lorain Ave., 216-252-5575. St. Pat's Day starts early at the Castlebar, with a Wednesday, March 16 set by Mossy Moran. And come back for a St. Patrick's Day party.

Cornerstone Brewing Company: 58 Front St., Berea, 440-239-9820. Cornerstone Brewing Company opens at 8 a.m. for a full day of specials and live entertainment. Food starts with a $10 all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, followed by Irish food specials all day long. A professional bagpiper will play from 1 to 2 p.m., and Terry McKnight will play from 6 to 10 p.m. Be there at noon for a special cask tapping.

The Cove: 5326 Lake Rd., Geneva-on-the-Lake, 440-466-8888. 2 Far Gone headlines the Cove's St. Patrick's party.

Flannery's: 323 Prospect Ave., 216-781-7782. The downtown opens at 6 a.m., and the Plastic Paddies will play Emerald-tinged covers all day long.

Fat Fish Blue: 21 Prospect Ave., 216-875-6000. If you think Mardi Gras is a good party, you've never been to Fat Fish Blue on St. Paddy's Day. Doors open at 9 a.m. for a breakfast of corned beef, ham, and kegs & eggs. WKNR will broadcast live, followed by blues and jazz by sax prodigy Tony Koussa Jr. at 8 p.m.

Flat Iron Café: 1114 Center St., the Flats, 216-696-6968. The Flats' oldest Irish bar kicks off its 95th St. Patrick's Day celebration at 8 a.m. Singer-songwriter Donal O'Shaughnessy plays a live set at 3 p.m.

The Garage: 1859 W. 25th St., 216-696-7772. The Garage hosts a rock and roll St. Patty's Day Party, opening at noon for $3 Guinness and $3 Jameson shots. They'll see ya on the floor.

Gotcha Inn: 3232 Lakeside Ave., Cleveland, 216-861-3895. The old Gotcha Inn is back in newly renovated style. Serving up savory delights well into the night, Gotcha Inn is sure to satisfy even the mostdistinguished palette. Indulge in the freshest corned beef sandwich in the city this St. Patty's Day. Stop in for late-night dining every Friday and Saturday until midnight.

Great Lakes Brewing Company: 2516 Market Ave., 216-771-4404. Doors open at 10 a.m., and Francis Quinn & Friends will play until 2 p.m. From County Waterford, Ireland, Mossy Moran will play from 1 to 6 p.m. In addition to a host of regular brews, Great Lakes has two Irish specialties on tap: Conway's Irish Ale and Wolfhound Dry Irish Stout. Food specials include Near West Corned Beef, corned beef & cabbage, shepherd's pie, grilled Irish salmon, and Irish potato soup.

Grog Shop: 2785 Euclid Hts Blvd., Cleveland Hts , 216-321-5588. St. Patty's Day at the Grog Shop features rousing sets from Xela, the Painted, and Brennan's Revenge.

Hard Rock Café: 230 W. Huron Rd., Tower City Center, 216-830-7625. It's March Madness at the Hard Rock Café. Come celebrate the International Film Festival, MAC 2005, and NCAA -- Hard Rock style. The Hard Rock Café always has the biggest St. Patty's Day party in Cleveland. Doors open at 10 a.m., and the first 100 visitors get a free shirt.

Happy Dog: 5801 Detroit Ave., 216-651-9474. A live bagpiper will play between four sets of original rock by singer-songwriter Kevin McCarthy. A special menu includes corned beef & cabbage specials.

Harp: 4408 Detroit Ave., 216-939-0200. Cleveland's premier Irish bar opens at 8:00 a.m. Irish breakfast will be served from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Pogues tribute band the Boys From County Hell take the stage at 8 p.m.

Highland Square Tavern: 11634 Madison Ave., 216-472-0920. The fun begins at 9 a.m. Just Wally will play live music from 2 to 5 p.m. A special menu includes corned beef sandwich and dinner.

House of Blues: 308 Euclid Ave., 216-523-2583. House of Blues Cleveland's first St. Paddy's Day is a Sham Rock party, with no cover for two rooms of continuous live music, featuring Pogues tribute band the Boys From County Hell, Brian & Joe of Mix 106.5 with the Endorsements, Armstrong Bearcat, DJ Packy Malley, DJ LK, DJ Larry Szyms, DJ Johnny Notaro, Inner City Outlet, and bagpipers. The Diamond Men's Club Dream Team will also be special guest hospitality technicians. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. Hungry? Try a $10 breakfast buffet or $10 Irish lunch buffet.

House of Cues: 740 W. Superior Ave., 216-241-8200. House of Cues has free pool all day long, starting at 11 a.m. Specials include $3 Guinness drafts, $2 PBR pounders, $7 pitchers, $5 corned beef sandwiches with fries, and $6 Reuben-and-fries plates -- but six hours into St. Paddy's Day, how can you put a price on a Reuben and fries?

Liquid/Fusion: 1212 W. 6th St., 216-479-7717. WMMS broadcast live from 3 to 7 p.m.

The Loft: 2781 Euclid Blvd., Cleveland Hts., 216-397-2800. Get green at the Loft, where we're serving $2 green beer, $3.75 Irish car bombs, and corned beef sandwiches till late. Come back for March Madness on our big screens and many TVs.

Longevity: 2032 W. 25th St., 2160781-9191. Longevity's all-day party features green jello, pizza, drink specials, and the Boys of Longevity.

McCarthy's Ale House Downtown: 1231 Main St., West Bank of the Flats. McCarthy's is the home of the cheap-ass St. Patrick's Day fun. Downtown's St. Paddy's Day headquarters opens at 9 a.m., with green eggs and ham for breakfast, corned beef and cabbage all day, and running specials on Irish lunches and dinners. Cleveland Police & North Coast bagpipers will help set the mood, and Breakfast Club will play favorites live. Be here!

McCarthy's Ale House Lakewood: 16918 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, 216-228-1340. McCarthy's is the home of the cheap-ass St. Patrick's Day fun. The West Side's St. Paddy's Day headquarters opens at 8 a.m. Shamrocks and shenanigans include green eggs and ham, Cleveland Police & North Coast bagpipers, and Irish lunch and dinner specials. Corned beef and cabbage are available all day, and Punch the Clown will play high-energy party rock live. Be here!

McGinty's: 13751 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-226-1770. Start your St. Patrick's Day happy endings at McGinty's. Enjoy our ridiculous specials not suitable for print.

Mercury/the Naughty Mermaid: 1392 W. 6th St., 216-566-8840. The Mermaid gets naughty on St. Paddy's Day, with food, beer specials, and Irish stew. U2 cover band Zoo Station will play Mercury for the third year in a row, from 1 to 9 p.m. Stop in for parade specials.

Merry Arts Pub & Grille: 15607 1/2 Detroit Rd., 216-226-4080. Doors open at 8:30 for a $3.50 full breakfast complete with homemade Irish soda bread. Bloody Mary specials run all day, and don't miss the annual Great Guinness Giveaway.

Mick's Pub & Grille: 36200 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, 440-946-2400. Mick's opens at 6 a.m. for kegs & eggs, and the day's entertainment includes pipers, but that's not all -- the St. Pat's celebration runs all week. Saturday the 12th, Dan McCoy plays Irish music and classic rock covers. Sunday the 13th, Donal O'Shaughnessy plays Irish traditional. Monday the 14th, join Brigid's Cross for traditional Irish tunes. Tuesday the 15th, Mossy Moran and Mike Malone play lively Celtic music. Traditional singer-songwriter Kevin McCarthy guests Wednesday the 16th. Mick's annual survivor's party takes place Friday the 18th. U2 cover band Zoo Station plays a free show Saturday the 19th.

Moose O'Malley's: 1637 Golden Gate Plaza, Lyndhurst, 440-401-3700. Moose O'Malley's has thrown the East Side's best St. Patrick's Day party since 1985. The Irish Pub has live entertainment, Irish singing, bagpipers, and special food -- famous overstuffed lean Vienna corned beef sandwich, salad, Reubens, and dinner.

Mullarkey's Irish Pub: 4110 Erie St., Willoughby, 440-946-7181. Mullarkey's opens its doors at 7 a.m., with live music from 2 to 7 p.m., followed by lively Celtic tunes from Mossy Moran at 8 p.m.

Mullen's of Letterfrack: 17014 Madison Ave., Lakewood. St. Patrick's Day at Mullen's starts at 7 a.m. Domestic drafts start at a mere ten cents, and the price rises another ten cents every hour. $2.50 will get you Guinness, Harp, Smithwick's, and all Irish whiskeys. All bombs -- cherry, Jäger, and Irish car -- are just $3.

Mulligan's Bar & Grille: 20880 Royalton Rd., Strongsville, 440-238-4447. Mulligan's is your headquarters for St. Patrick's Day, and join us for March Madness on all eight of our TVs, including one big screen. Enjoy corned beef and Reuben specials all day with your friends at Mulligan's. Let's get pissed!

Nighttown: 12387 Cedar Rd., Cleveland Heights, 216-795-0550. Named for the red-light district in James Joyce's Ulysses, Nighttown is as Irish as Cleveland gets. Tonight, the jazz clubs hosts Irish rockers New Barleycorn.

Nick's Sports Corner: 612 Prospect Ave., 216-781-0966. In the spirit of St. Paddy's Day, please celebrate with us downtown. Beer specials all day, and $5 corned beef sandwich.

Northside: 111 N. Main St., Akron, 330-608-7159. Costley Court stars in the Northside's St. Patrick's Day celebration, playing an eclectic mix of jazz fusion touched by reggae, Latin music, rock, and anything else that fits.

O'deon: 1295 Old River Rd., 216-574-2525. The JiMiller Band headlines the Odeon's 7th Annual St. Patrick's Day Marathon. Festivities begin at 3 p.m.

O'Donnell's Pub: 16204 Madison Ave., 216-227-9754. Start the day early with a free Lucky Charms breakfast. Shot and drink specials include $2.50 Guinness and Smithwick's pints, and $2.50 Jameson, Bushmills, and Tullamore Dew. You might want to take Friday off.

O'Malley's: 16161 Brookpark Rd., 216-267-6622. O'Malley's 25th St. Patrick's day begins at noon. DJ spins from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Bolster that belly with corned beef sandwiches and dinners.

The Old Angle Tavern: 1848 West 25th St., Ohio City, 216-861-5643. Get a Little Irish in Ya! The authentic Irish tavern opens at 7 a.m., featuring traditional Irish fare and libations. The Feighan Brothers will be performing traditional Irish music from 3 to 7 p.m.

Parnell's: 2167 Lee Rd., Cleveland Heights, 216-321-3469.. Parnell's opens at 8 a.m. for a nonstop day of drink specials -- a no-frills good time. In a thick brogue, the barkeep tells us what to expect: "Pooot the jukebox up all the way and let it go."

Pat's in the Flats: W. 3rd St. and Literary Rd., Tremont, 216-621-8044. Stop by Pat's for home-cooked St. Paddy's corned beef dinner or sandwich. Doors open at noon.

Peabody's: 2083 E. 21st St., 216-776-9999. WMMS sponsors the celebration at Peabody's, where the parade starts and stops. Rock and Roll Joel will spin tunes, a real (?) leprechaun will be on hand to grant wishes. Stop down for green beer and green beads. Party starts a 7 p.m., 21 and over.

Pete's Tavern: 1318 Warrensville Center Rd., Cleveland Hts., 216-291-0400. Pete's Tavern opens 10 a.m. or thereabouts, and starts serving corned beef dishes shortly thereafter. Toad & Badger will play traditional tunes and sea shanties.

Pickwick & Frolic/Hilarities East 4th: 2035 E. 4th St., 216-736-4242. The downtown entertainment complex's St. Patrick's Day celebration has the earliest start time, opening at 5:30 a.m. WMJI's Lanigan and Malone will broadcast live from the Cabaret Room. Two bagpipe players perform live outside at 11 a.m. Stop in for all-you-can-eat breakfast ($7) and lunch ($10) buffets. Pat Shepard will be play drinking songs, traditional tunes, and singer-songwriter favorites at 7 p.m., followed by a comedy show at 8 p.m.

Pic Nic's Pub & Grill: 6900 Biddulph Rd., Brooklyn, 216-635-1408. Join the McGowens for drink specials, corned beef, and beer. Spend $10 and get a shot from Carl the Leprechaun. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

Savannah Bar & Grille: 30676 Detroit Rd., Westlake, 440-892-2266. Irish duo McCarthy & Morrison play from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by the Bad Boys of Blues at 9 p.m.

Scalpers/Sharpy's Bar & Grille: 5718 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst, 440-442-3522. Everyone's Irish at Scalpers/Sharpy's Bar & Grille on St. Patrick's Day. Enjoy 23-ounce green beers for $1.75 all day, and feast on out legendary heaping corned beef platters. Ladies, your drinks are compliments of Homestar Mortgage from 10:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Jig to the sounds of DJ Vinnie Vegas all night. Test your luck and try to win special prizes.

Scorchers Casual Eatery & Drafthouse: 9244 Market Square Dr., Streetsboro, 330-422-3473. Scorchers in Streetsboro is easily accessible via 480 or Turnpike exit 187, located in Market Square Plaza near Giant Eagle. Visit for karaoke every Thursday, 8 p.m., and DJ Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.

Scorchers Eastlake: 35534 Vine St., 440-953-8900. Before you start with the cheap drinks -- or after -- load up with Scorchers' famous once-a-year corned beef specials. Drink specials include 23-ounce Budwiesers for $2, 23-ounce Killian's for $3, 23-ounce Guinness for $3.50, and $3.50 Irish car bombs.

Sheehan's Pub: 13560 Lorain Rd., 216-941-9396. Brimming with Irish hospitality, Sheehan's will open at 10 a.m., offering $1 breakfasts of corned beef hash and eggs until noon. Troubadours Morrison & McCarthy play at 2 p.m.

Shooters: 1148 Main St., West Bank of the Flats, 216-861-6900. Shooters has the biggest St. Paddy's Day party in the Flats. From corned beef to green beer to live entertainment, we have it all -- come celebrate at Cleveland's only waterfront café. Doors open at 6 a.m.

Sidetrack Café: 13429 Lakewood Hts. Blvd., 216-688-1498. Madison Crawl plays smokin' boogie-woogie and barrelhouse blues from 3 to 7 p.m.

Spy: 1261 W. 6th St., 216-621-7907. Doors open at 11 a.m. at the Warehouse District's St. Paddy's Day headquarters. KISS FM will broadcast live. Beer specials run all day long, and the Miller Light girls will be on site. See ya there.

Stamper's Grill Pub: 21750 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 440-333-7826. Stamper's started decorating for St. Patrick's Day December 26, and they'll open at 10 a.m., with the traditional full-blast broadcast of "Amazing Grace." The 87th Cleveland Pipe Band plays at 6 p.m., followed by Celtic rock from Brace Yourself Bridget at 7 p.m. Oasis (the local cover band, not Manchester's Gallagher Brothers) plays renditions of popular rock songs at 8:30 p.m.

Sullivan's Irish Pub and Restaurant: 13368 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-529-8969. Cleveland's best Irish pub will be open at 8 a.m., and the party lasts all day -- and the kitchen will be open all day, too.

Tequila Ranch: 1229 W. 6th St., 216-566-TACO. Pogues tribute band the Boys From County Hell will help the crowd break in the Warehouse District's newest club from 1 to 6 p.m., followed by a live broadcast by WMMS.

Tommy Rockers: 114 Antioch RD., Elyria, 440-366-6965. Hey Lads and Lassies, you'll be not want'n to miss these shenanigans. Authentic bagpipes will be playing as you're sippin' and enjoyin' draft specials, Irish food specials, cocktails, and, of course, the band Colorwheel!

2527: 2527 W. 25th St., 216-771-2527. Take a breather and stop by 2527 for corned beef dishes.

Velvet Dog: 1280 W. 6th Street, 216-664-1116. The Velvet Dog will open at 11a.m. for St. Pat's festivities, featuring Irish music by Francis Quinn & Friends, DJ Johnny, and the Miller Lite Girls. Complimentary Irish Buffet at 1 p.m.

Warren Tavern: 14805 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-529-0130. Celebrate St. Paddy's Day at the Warren Tavern. All-you-can-eat breakfast runs from 6 to 10 a.m. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., drafts are $1, and Bloody Marys are $1.50. Have one to wash down a Guinness roasted corn beef dinner, a corned beef sandwich, or another one of out specialties.

White Door Saloon: 14718 Detroit Rd. Lakewood, 216-226-9828. Join the St. Paddy's Day festivities at White Door Saloon. Have a $4.50 corned beef sandwich with fries. Drink specials include $3 Guinness pints, $2.50 Irish Whiskey, and two-for-one domestic bottles.

Wilbert's: 812 Huron Rd. E., 216-902-4663. Wilbert's -- thinking green. Admission is free for a special day of food & music. Wilbert's will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day after the parade. Festivities include live music with Put N Bay Style, with entertainers Alex Bevan, Bob Gatewood, and Chuck Cornwell. Specials include cheap drafts, free corned beef sandwiches while they last, and the best Irish stew on this side of the Atlantic.
