You don't have to spend a fortune on a Father's Day gift for Dad today. In fact, a pair of Cleveland Metroparks events offer free fun. The zoo (3900 Wildlife Way; call 216-661-6500) lets dads in free from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (everyone else pays $9; it's $4 for kids). They can take a ride on the ZooTram and learn all about animal fathers like Walker the giraffe and Patrick the monkey who hog the zoo's TV remotes and fall asleep on the couch. Staff will be on hand to talk about wildlife parenting, and fishing experts will tell Dad how to reel in the big one. Plus, there'll be a putting green. If your dad wants a more substantial golf adventure, take him to one of the Metroparks' seven courses, where he can play free today.
Sun., June 18, 1-9 p.m.
