Detroit's Stereo Jane to sing anthem at Cavs game on Saturday

Fronted by twin sisters Sydney and Mia Schmier, Detroit-based Stereo Jane is an up-coming pop rock band whose flashy new music video for the tune “Sing It” has gotten more than 600,000 hits on YouTube. Though "Sing It" is a rather lightweight (and catchy) pop tune, the group's publicist maintains the rest of its material is "edgier." The band will be in town on Saturday to sing the National Anthem at the Cavs game at Quicken Loans Arena and then performs at the Hard Rock Café in Tower City after the game. They’re scheduled to go on at about 10:30 p.m. The group also features guitarist Joey Gaydos Jr., a young phenom who co-starred with Jack Black in 2003's School of Rock. Gaydos, who was 12 at the time, is now 20 so good luck trying to recognize him.
