I don’t particularly like Dawg Pound Mike. I disagree with just about everything he’s done and said in recent memory, including but not limited to his skeezy search for half-naked Browns fans willing to send him pictures.

However, Dawg Pound Mike is an undeniable part of Cleveland Browns history, even if many other fans would like very much to deny that very fact. Which is why his lady pal’s eBay auctions are of particular interest. She’s (or he, under her name) is unloading scores of Cleveland Browns memorabilia, including the famous “Charlie’s Fryes” outfit Mike used to wear to games. You know the one:

No one’s bid on it yet, not that anyone should, but it’s there, as is this Bernie Kosar candybar, which is something I would actually want even though it looks like it was stored in the pocket of Mike’s sweatpants for the last twenty years.

Go crazy, kids. Help fund whatever misguided venture Dawg Pound Mike is embarking on next. I’m guessing MAR Marketing just isn’t doing it for Mike’s wallet these days.

  1. Great fan!! He did alot for the Cleveland Browns and local charities and still does! Its sad you want to mock another fan who just wants his team to win! Wait to you see the home opener. His ideas to Lerner are going to be in place. Keep knocking the guy but he is a great fan. I met him and mobiledawg last year in Chicago and they gave my son a football that they received from the Browns!!! Yes they gave my son the ball. When I asked him why. He told me they give a ball to the first kid they see with Browns attire on! Sounds like a bad fan to me. WOW!! You need to write something better next time!

  2. Mike may be a good guy, giving footballs to little kids, taking pictures with other fans, and making appearances in public for charities, but he is in the business of making money. He and the Bone Lady are exactly the same, self promoting a-holes, and do you think for one second that he would make public appearances without being paid. Get real. He exploits the Cleveland Browns for his own interests and his own fame. He also sells his big dog bone hats that say Dawg Pound Mike on them. Probably so he can donate that money to Haiti or some other feed the children charity. HA. No one would know who he is if he wasn’t at Browns games. He is not a real fan. He wouldn’t make appearance without being paid. He uses the Browns for his own personal gain, and because of that, he gets no respect from me or the rest of the Browns fans that know what kind of person he really is.

  3. ah, sadly it seems that the auction for the “charlie’s fryes” suit has been taken down. bummer.
