Horseshoe Cleveland Announces Opening of Tag Bar and Lounge

Earlier this morning, Horseshoe Cleveland welcomed local media to tour its new $4 million Tag Bar and Lounge. Located on the casino’s second floor, the 2,000 square foot bar and lounge features 40 electronic table games including blackjack, roulette and craps (be prepared to plunk down minimum bets of $3 during the week and $5 from 5 p.m. Friday to midnight Sunday). The bar and lounge also features 35 flat-screen TVs. “Clevelanders love table games and sports, so we created Tag Bar to combine these two favorite pastimes and build a premier gaming space that is unique to the Horseshoe,” says Marcus Glover, general manager of Horseshoe Cleveland, in a press release. The 360-degree bar offers 30 rotating craft beers from around the country. It also has eight wines on tap and a half-dozen “hoptails.” The bartenders are Cicerone Certified too, so they should know the difference between a pale ale and a stout. After a VIP party, the bar opens to the public tonight at 10. A grand opening party takes place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12; Yuengling and Yuengling Light will be available on draft for $2 and in a bottle for $3 from the start of the Browns game until the end of the live post-game broadcast (ESPN Radio Cleveland’s Tony Rizzo and Aaron Goldhammer’s Really Big Post Game Show will broadcast live from the bar for three hours following the game). Prizes and free slot play will be given away from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
