Just Sit There and Watch a Movie About Bicyclists

Usually this time of year we'd have a great reason for you to go see a movie called Bicycle Dreams.

But since any major dumping of snow this season is melting just a couple of days later, you really don't have to dream about biking this winter, do you?

Still, if you're in the mood for a new documentary about Race Across America, an annual transcontinental race, there's one showing tomorrow night.

The Big Dog Theater in Cleveland Heights will screen the movie at 7 p.m. It's a benefit for Bike Cleveland and the Cleveland Heights Bicycle Coalition.

In addition to the movie, a couple of the race's past participants will be on hand to talk to you about how cool it is to get off your ass and stop watching movies and bike across the country.

You can find more info about the movie here.

Tickets are $15 or $11 in advance.

Just do me a favor. If you plan on biking to the event, stay the hell out of my way. I'll be the guy in the 2010 Honda Civic. —Michael Gallucci
