As we told you last week, pop princess Katy Perry’s So-Cal, God-rocking missionary mom and dad, Keith and Mary Hudson, were in Northeast Ohio last week to speak at the Church of the Rise, a nondenominational shop in Westlake. The visit is getting a lot of attention now. According to news reports, the Hudson’s pulpit message about peace and love was spiked with some comments from Keith that might be construed as . . . they’re just a little bit maybe . . . hell, there’s no question about it: they’re straight-up anti-Semitic.
“You know how to make the Jew jealous?” he said at the Church on the Rise, a nondenominational church in Westlake, Ohio. “Have some money, honey. You go to L.A. and they own all the Rolex and diamond places. Walk down a part of L.A. where we live and it is so rich it smells. You ever smell rich? They are all Jews, hallelujah! Amen.”

I learned in pop warner football how to kick a field goal…
This would not be news if they were not Katy Perry’s parents. Dad is responsible for what spews out of his mouth. Katy is responsible for what spews out of hers. The End.
@Dot isn’t anti-Semitic speech in a public setting always news?? Especially when it’s coming from the pulpit . . .
God blesses the Jewish nation of Israel and it’s people. They are God’s chosen people. He blesses them in many ways…..technology, monetarily, wisdom, resources, etc. I watched a news report last week that told of a huge oil reserve that has been found in the nation of Israel and that they also have found natural gas and oil deposits in the Mediterranean that belong to Israel. I do not know what Pastor Hudson’s statement was supposed to mean. I just know that we (U.S.A.) think that we are protecting Israel? No my friends……God blesses the U.S.A. because we are friends to his people and because we have been a Christian nation that believes in His son Jesus Christ. When we stop being friends with Israel and start declaring that we are no longer a Christian nation, that’s when God will start withholding His blessing from our country. I do not believe Pastor Hudson meant anything by his statement other than the store owners and that section of where they live are blessed monetarily. There’s nothing wrong with stating hey these folks have some money. The only thing he should have followed up with is that God has truly blessed them. Maybe he is jealous and if he is……that’s between him and God. He just needs to remember that we (Christians) and the Jewish people all love and serve the same God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Let’s stop beating each other up and realize that.
